Unconditioned Space

UNCONDITIONED SPACE is not subject to Title 24 requirements, i.e. detailed calculations of the measures that would be required to bring a unit into compliance with energy conservation requirements. Under the live/work code, any building which complies with the prescriptive heating and insulation requirements is considered, for purposes of Title 24, to be unconditioned space.
